Return to Self-Expression & Aliveness

An embodied exploration of self-suppression, expression, and what becomes possible
when you return to yourself.

June 28th 2026, 16:30-18:00 CET, Online

What it’s all about

Self-expression is not something we lose.
It’s something we learn to tone down or quietly hide within ourselves.

At some point, expressing yourself fully may have felt unsafe, misunderstood, too much, or simply not welcomed. So you adapted. You became more contained, and started to monitor yourself more carefully: your words, your behavior, your body, your voice.

Little by little, your expression may have become filtered, not in obvious ways, but in subtle, automatic ones:

  • holding back before speaking

  • editing yourself mid-sentence

  • doubting what you want to say or create

  • waiting until something feels “ready” or “good enough”

  • staying slightly invisible, even when you want to be seen

  • feeling too modest, guilty, or ashamed of owning your desires

Over time, this pattern may have become so familiar that it can feel like safety — or even like who you are — when in reality it was a coping mechanism developed to protect you.

Maybe you haven’t realized that the adaptation was never actually really you.

And maybe what has felt like emptiness, fear, or something missing… was actually the distance from yourself.

This 2-hour workshop is a space to begin exploring this pattern from within — not just conceptually, but emotionally and somatically.

Rather than trying to become more expressive, we begin by understanding what has shaped your expression in the first place.

What to expect

  • A live online group experience

  • Guided somatic exploration

  • Gentle breathwork and EFT for emotional processing

  • Space for internal reflection through journaling

In this workshop, you will be guided to:

  • Notice where and how you hold back your expression in real time

  • Explore the protective patterns shaping how you show up

  • Begin to recognize self-suppression in the body, voice, and behavior

  • Reconnect with what your authentic expression feels like underneath adaptation

  • Get a felt sense of what changes when you stop abandoning your own expression
